Sandy Powell II

Multi-Oscar and BAFTA winning costume designer Sandy Powell in her famous ‘autograph suit’. Sandy wore the costume at the OSCAR and BAFTA events where it was signed by the industry stars, including  Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Spike Lee and Donatella Versace, Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Joaquin Phoenix, Scarlett Johansson, Billie Eilish, and many others. Sandy auctioned the costume to help Art Fund raise funds to save her mentor’s and friend’s Derek Jarman’s cottage. The costume was acquired by Edwina Dunn and later donated to the V&A museum.
