In partnership with MAG International, we travelled to northern Iraq to photograph the women risking their lives to clear landmines left behind by ISIS.

The portraits revealed an unexpected side to these women—strong, stylish, and full of pride for the dangerous work they do.

What started as a quiet shoot in the field quickly spread across the world, with features in The Sunday Times, The Australian, and CNN Arabic—proof that when women rewrite the narrative, the world pays attention.
